Miss You Miss Jenkins

Well I left her down in Baltimore on a frozen winter dawn
And hopped a morning Greyhound heading North
Felt like my lips were bleeding when I pulled them from her mouth
Felt like heading to the city wasn't worth it anymore

And a curbside way goodbye's all I could muster
To let her know that I;d be coming back
Her blue eyes told me I could always trust her
And it was in those eyes I knew I could relax and sing
